9. Nick Drake
Nicholas Rodney “Nick” Drake was not as famous during his lifetime as he was after committing suicide. As a result, Drake is the ninth in our list of famous musicians who committed suicide. He had been signed on pretty early when he was only 20. He put out a number on the album but didn’t gain much recognition and the sales never really took off. Drake was guarded and reluctant about live performances and even interviews, which many believe contributed to his lack of fame. He died of a drug overdose, although many believe that it was an accident.
