7. Chris Cornell
Cornell is among the most famous musicians who committed suicide. He was the lead singer for his rock bands Audioslave and Soundgarden. He was nominated for the Grammy Awards 14 times and went on to win twice. Cornell has been dealing with substance abuse and depression for the most of his adult life. On the night that he took his life in 2017, Cornell had performed at a hotel room. He had had access to prescription drugs, alcohol, marijuana, mushrooms, and acid from a very young age and just could not come out of it. As a result, he ended up taking his life.
