This Primetime Emmy Award winning actor gained worldwide recognition for her role in Sex And The City. She is also known for her role in Baby’s Day Out, James White, A Quiet Passion, ER, Hannibal, Law & Order, among others. Nixon was married to schoolteacher Danny Mozes from 1988 to 2003. They have two children together. In 2004, she started dating education activist Christine Marinoni in 2004 and got engaged with her in 2009 and eventually got married in 2012. Marinoni gave birth to their son in 2011. In 2007, Nixon said that she doesn’t really feel she has changed. She said that she had been with men all her life and had never been in love with a woman, but now that she is, it doesn’t seem strange to her. She identified herself as bisexual in 2012.
