At number three comes 57-year-old American Olympic diver, LGBT activist and author Greg Louganis. This four-time Olympic gold medalist and one-time Olympic silver medalist is the only male and second diver in Olympic history to sweep the diving events in consecutive Olympic Games. He also has five gold medals from the World Championships. He first came out as gay and HIV-Positive for the first time in an interview with Barbar Walters in 1995. It then resulted in a number of documentaries, interviews and media attention over the years, where he embraced both his sexuality and the fact that he is HIV-Positive. He got engaged with his partner paralegal Johnny Chaillot in 2013. They got married in 2013. Louganis is one of the most renowned athletes in the world.
