5. Neil Patrick Harris
Harris is an American actor among other things, and he rose to fame owing to playing the titular character of Barney Stinson on How I Met Your Mother for which he has received numerous awards and nominations. Back in 2010, he was named one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential People. Some of his influential work include Harold & Kumar, Starship Troopers, Gone Girl, A Series of Unfortunate Events, among others. In 2014 he married to partner David Burtka. The couple together has two children via surrogacy.
