4. Lhotse (Height: 8,516 m)
This one too is a part of the Everest and was ascent in 1956 by Fritz Luchsinger and Ernst Reiss. It’s the fourth among the highest mountain peaks in the world and lies in the China and Nepal. People have been trying to climb the mountain for over half a century, and so far some 20 people have lost their lives in the attempt.
