1. Muhammad Ali
The top spot on our list of 10 Greatest Male Boxers Of All Time goes to someone who is not only considered the best boxer, but perhaps the best sportsperson ever – American boxer Muhammad Ali. He won the the gold medal at the 1960 Rome Olympics in the Light Heavyweight category. He is the only three-time lineal heavyweight champion. He was named by Sports Illustrated as the “Greatest Athlete of 20th Century”, and “Sports Personality of the Century” by BBC. He passed away at the age of 74 in 2016. He also played a major role in the Civil Rights Movement and devoted a lot of time to religious and charitable work.
