The heart of Westeros lies in King’s Landing which is filmed in the magnificent city of Dubrovnik. The Croatian city is a popular tourist attraction and is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Since the 15th and 16th centuries, the city has prospered especially in maritime trade. The location has been used in every season of the show which has boosted its popularity. Besides GOT, the city has served as filming location for several other films.
