This American singer, actress, writer, and visual artist have enjoyed a career that spanned for four decades, but it was not all a rosy affair. It is said that her battles with drug addiction and legal issues, made her subject to significant media interest over the years. The singer became addicted to heroin in the 1990s and it was a great controversy in 1992 when she was pregnant and still using the substance. In 1996, there was a great push to help her through her addiction, even as director Milos Form who cast her in a leading role in The People vs. Larry Flynt, insisted on having Courtney undergo several urine test. Problems with drugs lead to other issues and this American sweetheart had a lot of cases in court even up until 2009.
