5. Swan Dress
The dress was worn by Bjork, an artist from Iceland at the 2001 Academy Awards. Although ridiculed by many, the dress is now called one of the most iconic dresses of all time and later reimagined at the Paris Fashion Week of 2014 by Valentino. The dress was criticised and called bizarre, but it really was a tribute to “Busby Berkeley and that sort of elegance,” as per the artist who wore it.
