The country has been at war with its neighbor Pakistan ever since independence for the British colonial rule. So it’s not surprising when the country began researching on nuclear power in the 60s of the last century. A decade later, the country began testing its weapon and the world discovered that the country was in possession. As per reports, India has over 90 nuclear weapons, but the country is also known for its strict policy of not making the first move.
6. France
The country is under constant attack from internal and external terrorist groups. Over past few decades, France has built an incredibly powerful army that is capable of striking from land, air as well as the sea. The country is one of the strongest nuclear power countries but it’s interesting to know that France is said to have deactivated all its land-based nuclear weapons. So far, there is no real count on how many nuclear weapons the country might be having.
