Born Robyn Rihanna Fenty, this Barbadian singer, songwriter, and actress, is one reason we cannot help but love music and film, especially when the artist is one with the art.
Just after moving from Barbados to the United States, Rihanna got signed unto the Def Jam recording; that was in 2005. By 2006, she was already in the movies.
She hit it off with Bring It On: All or Nothing , then went on to Battleship in 2012. There were several other acting projects afterwards including “Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (2017)” and the anticipated Ocean’s Eight (2018).
There are very few that have been able to be successful at both music and film, and Rihanna is one of the few.
