Yes, Cruella, the main antagonist from Dodie Smith’s 1956 novel The Hundred and One Dalmatians is getting a movie of her own this year. Tentatively titled Cruella, the film would revolve around one of pop culture’s most antagonizing figures. Although the character has appeared previously in live-action films such as the 1996 film 101 Dalmatians and the 2000 film 102 Dalmatians, it would be interesting to see the character’s point of view in the upcoming film. Directed by Alex Timbers, it will see Oscar winning actress Emma Stone in the titular role and this has got our imaginations running as wild as it could be. No information regarding its release date is known yet, but it can be expected that it will see the light of the day in 2018.
